The European Commission recognizes Badalona as a reference point in innovation in active and healthy aging


Our researcher Javier Solana participated in the event to commemorate the recognition of Badalona as a 4-star Reference site (the highest category) that was given at the last Conference of partners held in Aahrus (Denmark) of the European Association for Innovation on Active and Healthy Aging (EIP on AHA). Badalona has been recognized with the award of the European Commission certifies as a city of reference in terms of innovation in active and healthy aging. This recognition is the result of the third convocation program of the European Association for Innovation in Active and Healthy Aging (EIP on AHA for its acronym in English European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging). The winners landmarks like Badalona, ​​are distinguished by having comprehensive strategies to advance innovation for active and healthy aging according to a model that includes the involvement of many stakeholders: the authorities of the territory, the health and social care sector, academia, civil society and industry.
