Be physically, mentally and spiritually active. Have good social relationships, have things to do, be enthusiastic about developing a project. Don’t think that because you have reached a certain age there are already a number of things that inevitably will deteriorate. Think that that can be reversed. That there are people at an advanced age who have an optimal state of health and mental health and are totally lucid, and that this, therefore, is very reversible. There are many things to do, we should not let ourselves be defeated by fatalism, we mustn’t think that we have entered a stage that has no solution.
If we take preventive measures, the risk factor decreases a lot. And, from this point of view, knowing yourself and what the risk prevention factors are to avoid suffering brain accidents or brain deterioration or cognitive impairment… I think it is a fundamental tool.
